Mass Effect 3: Leviathan DLC – They’re changing the ending…AGAIN
The Reapers are one of the most interesting and under explored races in the Mass Effect Universe. This single player DLC continues Commander Shepard’s quest to stop the Reapers destroying the galaxy by finding a rouge Reaper called Leviathan.
Bioware have said this additional content takes place in the middle of the Mass Effect 3 story “…players will be thrust into the darkest corners of space where they will hunt a mysterious being rumored to be powerful enough to destroy a Reaper. As they race against time, they will begin to unravel the secret of the Leviathan. Explore uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel, interact with brand new characters, unlock the AT-12 Raider shotgun and M-55 Argus Assault Rifle and discover more about the mysterious history of the Reapers. Available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Cost is $10 or 800 Microsoft points.”
This DLC adds new weapons and introduces underwater gameplay into the Mass Effect Universe. Interestingly, the outcome of this DLC changes the ending of Mass Effect 3.
Unfortunately, I’ve already completed Mass Effect 3 and have my ending. At the moment this one piece of DLC doesn’t encourage me to go back and play through the whole game again.
The DLC is released on 28th August.
